Drones offer hotel guests a fun new way to capture their vacation experience. From a different point of view, from above. Drones can hover, glide, and follow a person. They're better than just taking selfies with phones.
There can never be enough activities to offer hotel guests. Drones offer another activity that is both fun and different, that creates a lasting souvenir of their time at the hotel. Hotel guests that take videos with the drone will usually post them on their social media channels, for others to see. These posted videos are user-generated content (UGC), real by real people, and are actually seen by others. As opposed to advertising which is done by actors and mostly ignored by viewers.
It's an excellent opportunity for hotels to "get in the picture" and gain some free exposure.
